I met Onishi-Sensei at Acura Acupuncture Clinic in Shibuya before she opened here own office. Initially, I visited Acura Acupuncture Clinic after seeing a flyer at a fertility clinic I was visiting, and Onishi-Sensei was the one who treated me. The reason I am still visiting for the session is, of course, her excellent services.  


My infertility treatment history began after four artificial inseminations, when my AMH levels took a turn for the worse, and I was blessed with my first child after two IVF attempts. After that, I found out the doctor had gone independent, so I started going to Yotsuya, and was blessed with my second child after the third IVF attempt.

For infertility treatment to be successful, finding a competent hospital is important, but above all, it is important to be relaxed both mentally and physically. As you get older, your physical strength naturally declines, and if you are tired, you become irritable and easily feel stressed, and things don't go well in terms of continuing your pregnancy, raising children, your relationship with your spouse, and your job. In that sense, the doctor's treatment was good for me both physically and mentally. Also, since the doctor can help you choose a hospital and consult with you about treatment, I felt at ease knowing that I could ask him to help me understand the numbers I received from the clinic.

For me, acupuncture can be used to treat all kinds of physical ailments, such as stiff shoulders, back pain, sprains, colds, and headaches, so it was a real help when it was difficult to take medication, such as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
In addition, the Maverick Acupuncture Clinic is a private room, so you can bring small children and it is an environment where you can easily consult about things that are difficult to say without worrying about others. During my acupuncture treatment, I can complain about my daily life (not only about the treatment, but also about my husband and family, and even about work and child-rearing!), and it is a place where I can really clear my mind.
